Meet Klee – Genshin Impact’s new Bomb-throwing pyro toddler

Mihoyo is set to release a new character and a new banner called “Sparkling Steps” for Genshin Impact. This new banner will introduce a new character called Klee!

Klee is a bomb-throwing, Pyro-infused character child and would be available soon.

The Sparkling Steps banner is expected to drop October 20 with a bigger chance for gamers to get Klee. And similar to Venti, every five-star pull from the Sparkling Steps banner could net you Klee. If you missed Klee on your first five-star pull, you are guaranteed to get the bomb-throwing baby on your second five-star pull.

The new banner would also feature a 90-pull mercy which means you also get guaranteed five-star every 90 pulls.

Finally, its also been announced that there’s a total of 180 wishes you can make without getting Klee. So Wish # 181 onwards will get you one.

A Klee banner will also give players an increased chance to get a four-star characters. The banner also gives players 50% chance to get four star characters like Sucrose, Noelle, Xinggiu and more.

Unlike other catalyst users aka mages, the new character’s basic attack will feature her throwing bombs. Pressing the attack button will create a fire laser that will feature in the area. Her primary ability has two charges. When released, the bomb will bounce a few times, explode and then leave a few fire mines within the area. The ultimate ability will feature fire lasers to rain down on enemy areas for a limited time.

Klee works a little differently than other mages — or catalyst users. Her basic attacks throw pyro bombs, while holding the attack button creates a fire laser that blasts a small area. Her primary ability has two charges, and causes her to chuck a bomb forward. The bomb bounces a few times, explodes, and leaves behind some fire mines. Her ultimate ability causes fire lasers to rain down on nearby enemies for a short period of time.
