Twitter Users Call Out Vilma Santos and her roles in “Sister Stella L” and “Dekada 70” after supporting Terror Bill

Veteran actress Vilma Santos is getting flack on Twitter after its been announced that she has shown support to the dreaded Terror Bill which has already been passed to Congress after getting approved by the Senate.

So what’s all this about the “Anti-Terror Bill”?

It’s a bill that Senate and Congress passes off as a way to control terrorism amidst the current situation of the COVID-19 Pandemic. It’s quite different from the Bayanihan Heal as One Act which had a few provisions regarding arrests and treating potential dissent on the government.

This bill prohibits mass gathering and supposedly looks to silence social media posts that criticizes the Philippine government. Its reported that President Rodrigo Duterte will be fast-tracking the signing of the bill which may or may not lead to trouble.
