Guilty Gear Strive Release Date moved

Takeshi Yamanaka, the producer for Guilty Gear Strive has released a statement regarding the fan-favorite fighting game to which its revealed that the game has been moved a few months after the original release date.

Guilty Gear Strive was supposed to hit stores late 2020 but due to a number of reasons including the coronavirus pandemic that has halted movement around the world, the game has been pushed to an early 2021 release.

So aside from COVID-19, the move also means that the team could further work on the game’s quality and possibly the aesthetics as well. Have you seen the previous Guilty Gear games? You may actually find yourself looking for a few minutes at the background. Plus the characters are awesome to look at like Sol Badguy amongst others.

No word yet on when Guilty Gear Strive would be released but you can bet it would be worth it. as early as now, the studio responsible for the game is already hyping it up and saying its got brand new stuff added into the mix.

What do you guys think of this? I’m sure the fighting game community can accept a few more months for development anyway seeing that there won’t be any major tournaments or competitions happening soon.
