WWE Women’s Champion Becky Lynch rumored to appear in a Marvel Studios Film

Take this with a boatload of salt but somebody from Twitter recently stated that WWE Women’s Champion Becky Lynch formerly Becky Two Belts would be appearing in a Marvel Studios film.

The story was shared by Kris Tapley, Host of Netflix’s The Call Sheet and former working for Variety.

This would be interesting because of the mainstream popularity that women’s champ. She’s been the face of the ESPN appearances ever since RAW was brought up by FOX. Her appeal and her matches are also still interesting so far including her recent Wrestlemania 36 match against former NXT champion Shayna Bazler.

If this rumor proves true then Lynch joins other former WWE superstars who have made it big in comic book/superhero movies which includes Dave Bautista (Drax the Destroyer). John Cena and Dwayne Johnson are also working for DC Comics and Warner Bros as they have upcoming appearances. Johnson is slated to appear as Black Adam in his own solo film. Cena has been tapped to play a part in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad.
