Marvel Studios Drops Captain Marvel 2 Release Date

Marvel Studios had recently revealed the Captain Marvel 2 release date which tentatively would bring back Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/ Captain Marvel.

A report surfaced that the sequel for the Marvel Cinematic Universe will reportedly be released on July 8, 2022. This is a step forward to the previous information for the Captain Marvel 2 release date as just plainly “2022”.

The sequel was confirmed by Kevin Feige in 2019 San Diego Comic Con. Nothing has been revealed in this film though maybe except for Larson returning to her role. She had previously appeared in the first Captain Marvel movie, Avengers: Infinity War (in a post-credit scene) and Avengers: Endgame.

Oh wait, there are reports that suggest that the sequel would connect to other Disney+ project including WandaVision and Ms. Marvel. Back in February, it was reported that Marvel Studios had greenlit a new production for a project titled “Warbird Productions ll,” which most speculated to be the sequel to 2019’s Captain Marvel (which had its own production titled “Warbird Productions”).
