DC’s Stargirl Release Date Revealed!

We get a new poster for DC Universe’s upcoming TV series Stargirl based on the series of the same title written back then by Geoff Johns (Green Lantern, Justice League) as well as extra details including the release date on DC’s DC Universe streaming service.

The series will premiere May 18 and will star Brec Bassinger as Courtney Whitmore aka Stargirl, Luke Wilson as Pat Dugan aka S.T.R.I.P.E. aka Stripesy, Anjelika Washington as Beth Chapel / Doctor Mid-Nite and Yvette Monreal as Yolanda Montez / Wildcat.

And its sad that we dont get much of the pair in terms of video content. I only found a few Youtube videos about Courtney and Pat and it included this one…

… which is obviously very old already. Hopefully they get the recognition and popularity they deserve. And also we get back the Justice Society of America or JSA in theses books.

We also did get to see Stargirl leading a new version of the JSA in a cameo at the end of CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths mega-crossover.
