New Avengers: Endgame Posters Remember the Fallen and Brings Back Valkyrie
Marvel Studios has finally released a batch of character posters for Avengers: Endgame and not only does it set the mantra for the film (a revenge film of sorts), it also pays tribute to the “dead” heroes and brings back one character who was absent in Avengers: Infinity War.
To make it a bit fun, I’m posting the posters based on whose alive (and looking for some avenging) and those who are dead.
Visibly absent from this list is Thor and Captain America. Could they be the ones that bite the bullet by the end of Avengers: Endgame?
Then there’s this special nugget.
Valkyrie is back. I remember a few days ago, we were talking about Tessa Thompson and Brie Larson playfully liking the idea of a lesbian ship of Valkyrie and Captain Marvel. And now here we are, with a poster of her joining the living characters who survived the “snap” aka The Devastation.
Valkyrie and Korg were characters from Thor: Ragnarok who we never see at the start of INFINITY WAR. Later, the Russos revealed that Valkyrie had survived the attack on their ship by Thanos’ Sanctuary 2 battleship. Fans never did get an answer how they survived and where they had gone after the shocking destruction at the start of the third Avengers film. Maybe we’ll finally get some answers in Avengers: Endgame.
Meanwhile, let’s also look at the “dead” or the “dusted” characters…
Avengers: Endgame is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Rudd, Karen Gillan, Bradley Cooper, Don Cheadle, Brie Larson and Josh Brolin as Thanos. Opens April 24
