Westworld season 3 episode 1 shows Palawan inhabited by Chinese

In case you missed it, Westworld season 3 episode 1 ended with a nice nod to the Philippines with a twist.

In the story Jeffrey Wright’s character Bernard finds himself in Palawan. Specifically in municipal fish port somewhere in the beautiful island of Palawan. He’s looking for a boat ride and talks to locals.

Yeah, it looks like Palawan has Chinese locals operating there already in the distant future.

That’s just sad really. So what do you guys think about Westworld season 3 episode 1?
