A newly released concept art from Avengers: Endgame featuring that segment where Thanos smashes Captain America’s shield in the climatic battle.

Swear, this was a really close throwback to the source material from the Infinity Gauntlet when Cap stood in Thanos’ way.

I think though that the version we got is something that’s more appropriate for the story. Good call on Anthony and Joe Russo for skipping this over.
