Wally West Explores Generation Zero for DC Comics’ FCBD 2020

DC Comics’ FCBD 2020 offering comes in a number of forms but the one thats really got people talking is the new project called Generation Zero which explores Wally West, the former Flash who sacrificed his life for the multiverse in Flash Forward.

DC Comics will be releasing two FCBD books for 2020 and with one focusing on the upcoming Young Adult books like Batman Overdrive and another one called Generation Zero.

The way it was marketed around the Internet is that it was the cosmically powered Wally West in Metron’s Mobius Chair and powered with Doctor Manhattan. In a way its a sequel to Flash Forward and even Doomsday Clock to some extent. This 32-page special will ship with a cover done by Francis Manapul…

The special book however will contain what’s described as Flash Forward’s epilogue.

In order to save his children and the multiverse itself, Wally West makes the ultimate sacrifice, taking his place in the Moebius Chair. Unbeknownst to him, the chair is packing a little extra power, having been imbued with the godlike powers of Dr. Manhattan! Now armed with infinite knowledge – and the powers of a god – Wally West can see the past, present and future of the DC Universe all at once.
