Jerrold Tarog teases Day 1 Production for Darna starring Jane De Leon
Darna director Jerrold Tarog has posted on his Facebook account the start of production for Star Cinema’s Darna movie starring Jane De Leon.

Tarog took over directorial duties for the long-gestating Darna movie from Erik Matti who has moved on the project for other film projects he plans to do. The new Darna movie also lost both leads starting with Angel Locsin and then by Liza Soberano.

No word yet on the final release date for the project but I’m willing to bet that this would be released around the Metro Manila Film Festival 2020 on December. That’s if they don’t take too much time on editing and post-prod.
