Grandmaster and The Collector Marvel Legends Finally Happening!
The Grandmaster and The Collector Marvel Legends are officially happening and they will be exclusive for at the Hasbro area for SDCC 2019.
These two are actually brothers in the comics but that seems unlikely in the Marvel Cinematic Universe or MCU. I don’t know where The Collector is in the books but we know Grandmaster fairly recently lost his title during Avengers: No Surrender but got it back with the help of his daughter, Vector, who also became an honorary member of the Avengers.
The Collector based on the likeness of Benicio Del Toro appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengerd: Infinity War where he met his fate at the hands of Thanos. The Marvel Legends figure will come with the orb and an alternate head with shades. What would have been cool was if they also added the caged Cosmo. Too bad thats only a printed background.
The Grandmaster, played by Jeff Goldblum, appeared in Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok. He hasn’t popped up again but he could do so in GoTG vol 3 aka Asgardians of the Galaxy. For his exclusive figure, he has the staff which melted his cousin, the chair and the goo.
