Thor’s Baby Sister Revealed – War of the Realms: Journey into Mystery # 1

Here’s a look at last week’s War of the Realms: Journey into Mystery # 1 featuring the introduction of Thor’s baby sister – Laussa Odinsdottir.

Before the way began in the streets of New York with Malekith and his new Lords of Asgard, we get to meet Thor’s baby sister Laussa Odinsdottir.

Balder will be the central lead for this series which will focus on a rag tag group of heroes looking to bring Laussa away from the war, due west apparently.

Balder leaves with Thori and escapes with Miles Morales who then travel to Broxton to retrieve Laussa from Thor’s mother Gaia.

They meet Skalsi, one of the norns who tell the team what they need to do and who would be coming along the way.

So Balder assumes rhat he would be accompanied by big name heroes like Hawkeye, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Wonder Man and Deathlok.

But as we saw in the first few pages, these are diffefent versions of the heroes promised to Balder.

The issue continues as Balder scours the US for his team and thats when we catch up with the chaos at the start.

Who is Laussa and why is she important to the general narrative. I like how the McElroys scripted the book but I’m much displeased with the art.
