Skybound Picks Up Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season
At New York Comic Con The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman has revealed that his company Skybound will be releasing the last two episodes of Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season.
I case you missed it, Telltale recently announced closure citing numerous problems and leaving several projects in the dust. Not to mention a lot of employees too.
Kirkman though was kind enough to pick up the last two episodes for the game namely episode 3 and episode 4 in the final season.
Kirkman says:
We’ve successfully negotiated with Telltale Games for our company Skybound to come in and see Season 4 of the Telltale game to completion. We can’t lose Andrew Lincoln and Clementine in the same year.
He adds that Skybound has…
taken ownership of Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season and will finish the season. Skybound will work with members of the original Telltale team to finish the story in a way the fans deserve.
Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season episode two was released September 25, two days after, Telltale announced it’s closure.
No word yet as to when episode 3 and 4 will be released but it won’t take long though as reports have revealed that episode 3 was already almost done before the unfortunate incident.
