Kingdom Hearts 3 Opening Theme will be a Collaboration Between Utada Hikaru and Skrillex

Kingdom Hearts 3 is set for release some time next year and all the small details are slowly trickling down including this new bit of information about the game’s opening theme which will be a collaboration between Japanese songstress Utada Hikaru and Skrillex.

The Kingdom Hearts III opening song will be titled “Face My Fears” and is considered an original track. Square Enix announced that this track together with Hikaru’s “Don’t Think Twice” will be made available for download starting January 18.

According to record producer Poo Bear, who also produced songs like Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean”, he’s also collaborated with the two in creating the opening song.

The Kingdom Hearts franchise had always been known as one of the games that offers great and memorable opening tracks all done by the beautiful Utada Hikaru. Check out the two main songs that have been released with the two previous Kingdom Hearts games.

  1. The Kingdom Hearts 2.8 intro looks amazing. I think KH 3 intro will be very interesting with Utada Hikaru and Skrillex collaborating.
