Asgardians of the Galaxy # 1 Spoilers – The Destroyer Armor Pilot and Main Villain
Last week’s Asgardians of the Galaxy # 1 was surprisingly fun and we have to thank the creative team of Cullen Bunn and Mateo Lolli.
The book features an insane set of characters all connected to Marvel’s Asgardian family of books and includes:
- Angela
- Valkyrie
- Thunderstrike
- Skurge the Executioner
- Throg or Frog Thor
- Destroyer
And now we actually go into spoiler territory with the reveal of the pilot of Destroyer, who turns out to be the real mastermind for this team…
Yup, Kid Loki from Journey into Mystery returns and is co-captain for this team. It also looks like him and Angela have struck a deal with Angela getting something important after the mission is done, which I think is Angela’s girlfriend, Sela.
Asgardians of the Galaxy # 1 Villain
There’s also the main villain for Asgardians of the Galaxy # 1 which happens to be Nebula, who now looks like her MCU counterpart.
The whole arc’s villain plans to one up Gamora who currently has the Infinity Stones and messing things up in Infinity Wars. And to do that she plans on using her army of undead god corpses to kill the universe.
Seems pretty intetresting if you ask me.
