The Lizard Returns as a Good Guy in Amazing Spider-Man # 2

The latest issue of Amazing Spider-Man reveals that the classic Spidey villain The Lizard has returned as a good guy and is teaching a college class in Amazing Spider-Man # 2 by Nick Spencer and Ryan Ottley.

The last issue ended with Parker being invited to his Alma Mater to sort things out with what he’s done, namely plagiarizing the works of Otto Octavius.

In this issue, we find out that Parker was handpicked by The Lizard, who is once again reformed, to help in his class and learn more about the tech that “created” Spider-Man years ago.

We also find out that Connors has a new tech that keeps in check in case he wants to eat one of his students… Just like how he ate his own son Billy years ago.

Conners is also looking to reverse-engineer the same.machine that gave Peter Parker his powers years ago.

There’s also that plot to get the same machine by sending over Taskmaster and Black Ant.

Definitely still staying in my pull list for the foreseeable future.
