PWR Presents PWR LIVE: Holding Hands While Wrestling
Love and respect for pro wrestling are in the air as Philippine Wrestling Revolution returns to romantic Quezon City for PWR LIVE: Holding Hands While Wrestling! The February show happens just days before Valentine’s Day and will aptly be held at a place that boasts itself as “A City Venue with a View”, Venue 142 Events Place, located along Katipunan Avenue. Join Philippine Wrestling Revolution and hundreds of loud wrestling fans for a romantic afternoon of hard-hitting pro wrestling only PWR can bring.
And here’s a preview of what you can look forward to on February 11th, 2PM, at Venue 142 Events Place in Katipunan, QC.
HANDICAP MATCH: Ralph Imabayashi & Rederick Mahaba vs. Miguel Rosales
Having been fed up with Miguel Rosales’ antics, 50% owner of PWR John Sebastian has once again barred the Ruthless One from a shot at becoming Kampeon ng Pilipinas, and has instead placed him in a handicap match against Rederick Mahaba and his partner, 2-time PWR Champion Ralph Imabayashi. With two of the toughest forces in PWR, yet again holding him back from a shot at the Title, will Rosales be able to once again overcome the odds stacked against him? Mahaba and Imabayashi, who fondly call themselves MTNH (don’t ask), have proven time and time again that they are a force to reckon with… and Miguel Rosales will not have it easy.
TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT FINALS: Trian Dela Torre & Evan Carleaux vs. Zayden Trudeau & BOLT
Two of the fastest rising tag teams in Philippine wrestling, the team of Trian Dela Torre and Evan Carleaux will be going up against the newly-formed duo of Zayden Trudeau and BOLT in a sure-classic to determine the next #1 Contenders for the PWR Tag Team Championship. During the semifinals, TDTxECX outlasted SANDATA and Dax Xaviera; on the other hand, Zayden Trudeau and BOLT had defeated the Kakaibros to make it to the finals. The winners of the scheduled bout will face the current PWR Tag Team Champions, James “Idol” Martinez and Alexander Belmonte III of The Network.
FIRST EVER ALL-FEMALE ALL OUT WAR: Robynn vs. Crystal
Former best friends turned bitter rivals. Robynn and Crystal had shared a dream to build women’s wrestling in the Philippines together, but somewhere along the way, the dream had turned into a nightmare. Crystal’s ego, it seems, had taken the best of her. After being given a number of wrestling opportunities abroad, the self-proclaimed Queen of Philippine Wrestling had returned back to the Philippines with a chip on her shoulder and animosity against Robynn. After a series of altercations and matches that had turned very, very physical, the two former “beshies” will now be going at each other once again, only this time, they will be fighting under All Out War rules: No countouts, No DQs, No holds barred.
SIX-MAN TAG TEAM MATCH: Ken Warren & The YOLO Twins vs. Mike Madrigal, Vlad Sinnsyk, and The Apocalypse
Probably the most nuanced match of the entire card. Since the last PWR LIVE show, Ken Warren had issued an apology to PWR management for his altercation with his “fam” the YOLO Twins. To prove that him, Yohann, and Logan are going alright, the first-ever PHX Champion had posed a challenge for the current PHX Champion Mike Madrigal — a 6-man tag team match. Madrigal was given the privilege to choose his tag team partners, and he had called upon the aid of his former tag partner and current All Out War Champion Vlad Sinnsyk, and bitter rival, the inaugural All Out War Champion The Apocalypse. Did you get all that? It just means that two teams with unaddressed issues will be going at each other… and that can only mean trouble.
OPLAN LINIS WRESTLING, PHASE 2: Jake De Leon vs. SANDATA
Mr. Philippine Wrestling Jake De Leon has been going hard on his OPLAN: Linis Wrestling campaign since joining the ranks of John Sebastian’s posse. First on his list was Dax Xaviera, who De Leon had already sent home with an injury that will sit him out for 2 long months. After a successful first phase, De Leon is poised to clean up the next person in his list, the masked mandirigma SANDATA. And if you’ve been following SANDATA’s career in PWR, you will know that no one has a tougher heart and he’ll be damned to go down without first giving Jake De Leon a fight!
AND SO MUCH MORE! Catch Peter Versoza vs. Revo Ranger, and Martivo vs. Vintendo, and a special pre-show tag team match featuring QUATRO & Trabajador Maximo vs. The Kakaibros!
