Saban’s Power Rangers Live Officially Dead for Now
Sad news for fans of Power Rangers franchise and those excited to catch the Power Rangers: Live experience in the States as the Saban has announced that the project is being shelved for now.
Power Rangers Live was supposed to be a live show featuring the current Power Rangers (Power Rangers Ninja Steel) in an all new adventure which would be interactive and will feature all the cool stuff and more from the TV series. Tour was supposed to start February 2018 all across the United States.
However, things are NOT going to happen that way anymore as Saban is reportedly shelving the project. Here’s a part of the email sent to ticket holders who bought their tickets early.
Due to production delays, the Power Rangers Live! tour is postponed. We apologize for any inconvenience, tickets will be valid for the rescheduled show once announced. Refunds are available at point of purchase.
The official website adds:
We look forward to bringing you an incredible Power Rangers live event in 2019!
So in my humble opinion, postponing Power Rangers Live is a good thing because it will make sure that the quality of the show they’ll be putting up would be top-notch. As in nothing can be said on the production value. It’s all for the best too so all we fans need to do is wait for the new tour schedules (and hopefully they go global too, it’s a bummer that these shows are currently slated for just the United States.)
