WWE Is Not Pleased with LaMelo Ball and his Racial Slur on RAW
The WWE quickly distanced itself after an incident involving UCLA’s LaMelo Ball and a racial slur in The Miz TV segment yesterday.
In yesterday’s broadcast of WWE Raw, the Balls made an appearance in Miz’s segment Miz TV. There was retired football star LaVar Ball, his son and current LA Lakers Lonzo Ball and the 15 year old LaMelo Ball.
So there was a lot of trash talking between the elder Ball and The Miz which ended with LaVar undressing (which we really don’t get) and getting ready to go toe-to-toe with Miz.
Then Dean Ambrose shows up.
At that point, the youngest Ball goes:
Beat that n***** ass! Beat that n***** ass!
Boy was that a cringe worthy scene right there. The locker room was also in an uproar following the broadcast.
Meanwhile, the WWE won’t be having none of that. So they issued THIS statement.
“The inappropriate language used by a guest during the ‘Miz TV’ segment was not scripted nor reflects WWE’s values.”
The last time WWE went through with this, it was a racial slur with Hulk Hogan that got leaked online. And we all know what happened to Hogan after that. Although there are rumors of a comeback, the Balls won’t have the same favor given to them after this incident.
