All Hail Britannia! Code Geass Sequel Announced!

During the celebration of it’s 10th year anniversary, Lelouch vi Britannia will be returning once more as its officially announced that there will be Code Geass sequel is being produced soon.

So just to be clear and to set just how old you are its been a full decade since Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion first aired. It was a time when Internet was slower than what we already had but anime and the otaku mindset was thriving. Back to the topic at hand, Code Geass amassed a cult following which was also the reason why a sequel was done plus some cool spinoffs here and there with new characters.

The celebration for the 10th Anniversary of Code Geass in Maihama, Japan which was done on November 27 turned into a full-on mad on for the series because they announced that a new Code Geass sequel, a true sequel so to speak will be produced. No this is not a spinoff or an alternate take where Lelouch didn’t die. It definitely picks up where “Lelouch of the Rebellion” left off.

To be more precise, the studio promises that the new project/ season will be set a few years after the events of Code Geass: Zero Requiem…

We also don’t know whether the new project will be a TV anime series or would be an OAV or even a film. Who knows?

In addition, a 3-part movie compilation of the first two seasons of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion has also be announced. The movies will include unaired scenes and voice-over has been completely re-recorded.
