Stranger Things Season 2 Production Officially Begins!

Check out these new photos of the cast of Stranger Things as production officially begins for Netflix’s Stranger Things season 2. 

Looks like the entire cast (except for Barb) are back for more creepy hijinks in their quiet, sleepy town. For the top photo alone we have Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), Noah Schnapp (Will Byer) and Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler).

Below we also have another photo from Justjared.com showing the kids getting ready for a scene.

God I love these kids! So rad!

Whoever snapped these photos for Justjared also got a blurry photo of Charlie Heaton who plays Will’s brother Jonathan Byers. And yes we’re still not over the fact that he did not end up with the girl despite the romantic tension they had in Stranger Things season 1.

The distinction of being called Nancy’s boyfriend still belongs to the man in the photo below, Joe Keery who reprises his role as Steve Harrington.

Interestingly enough for Stranger Things season 2 there will be three new characters, one of which happens to be a Power Ranger. That’s right Dacre Montgomery aka Jason from the 2017 Power Rangers movie will be joining the series as a character called Billy (who is not the blue ranger). He’s part of a sibling duo with a sister named Max played by Sadie Sink.

Whether these two will be the new baddies for the series or new fodder for the baddie or just new supporting “friends” we’ll have to wait for a bit to see. It won’t be long though as Stranger Things is such a hot property, they’ll need to speed things up to feed the demand of the public. Hey at least we won’t wait for that long for Stranger Things Funko Pop Vinyls right?
