New Photos from Supergirl Featuring Wonder Woman Lynda Carter as the US President

Is this a foreshadowing for things to come for the US? Will they have a lady president in Hillary Clinton? That’s still up in the air but what’s NOT up in the air is former Wonder Woman Lynda Carter making a guest appearance for Supergirl season 2 as the president of the United States.

Call it a crossover if you will. It’s actually the closest to a crossover outside of the superhero foursome crossover we’ll be treated in the next few weeks featuring Supergirl, Arrow, the Flash and Legends of Tomorrow dealing with the aliens known as the Dominators.

Here’s the official synopsis for the Lynda Carter episode of Supergirl:

LYNDA CARTER (“WONDER WOMAN”) LANDS IN NATIONAL CITY AS PRESIDENT OLIVIA MARSDIN — An attack is made on the President (guest star Lynda Carter) as hot-button, alien vs. human rights issues heat up in National City. Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and the DEO are assigned to protect the President and bring in the responsible party. Alex (Chyler Leigh) teams up with Detective Maggie Sawyer (Floriana Lima) to investigate the case while Kara searches for a recently escaped Mon-El (Chris Wood), who she fears may be the alien behind the assault. Rachel Talalay directed the episode written by Jessica Queller and Derek Simon (#203). Original airdate 10/24/2016.

And no this won’t be those things where she’ll secretly revert to Wonder Woman. This is much like how Dean Cain is here in this series, an easter egg, if you think about it.

Have to say after all these years, Carter still looks AMAZING! As if she never aged much. The photos don’t lie and yeah, there might be makeup but with or without, she still looks pretty especially this last photo.
