SM CINEMA invites you to be your own hero with summer’s hottest movie, Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War.” In true patriotic fashion, SM CINEMA welcomes the film by inviting fans to choose a side and make a stand with 8-feet tall statues, interactive activities, and a chance to attend the movie’s Asian premiere.

Beginning with life-size characters literally standing in the middle of SM North EDSA’s activity center, fans are asked to pick a side upon FREE entrance to choose the team that they may play in. Armed with fun activities, guests will pick from different challenges related to the powers of each Super Hero. On Team Captain America, patrons can select from challenges such as “Winter Soldier,” “Scarlet Witch,” and “Hawkeye.” On Team Iron Man’s side, players can choose from “Black Panther,” “Black Widow,” and “Vision.” Any two activities garner an instant premium item.

Just in time for voting season, fans are encouraged to be the hero and make a stand by voting in the coming election. Patrons can also make a stand by choosing #SMTeamCap or #SMTeamIronMan online to win a 3-day, 2-night stay in Singapore and a chance to see Chris Evans and other stars LIVE at Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” Blue Carpet Premiere at the Marina Bay Sands.

BEST SEEN IN IMAX

Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” will be the first film to use the new IMAX/Arri 2D Camera that will add “incredible scale to it,” according to co-director Joe Russo. IMAX has been very selective as to who utilizes its cameras, limiting it to Zack Snyder (“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice”), Brad Bird (“Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol”), Christopher Nolan (“Interstellar”), and J.J. Abrams (“Star Wars: The Force Awakens”). The newest addition, the IMAX/Arri 2D Camera has been christened by the latest installment of the Captain America franchise.

Naturally, the film is best projected onto screens in IMAX theatres, which widen the view of the scene making sure no perspective is cut off frame. “When you’re working on a Marvel film, there’s a sense of showmanship that goes along with the movies, and no exhibitor exploits that better than IMAX,” says Russo. This summer, choose the extraordinary by watching with the best. Choose IMAX.

Be your own hero and make a stand. #ChooseWisely online for a chance to see the cast of Team Captain America live, and visit the “Captain America: Civil War” booth at SM City North EDSA from April 13 onwards to win premium items.
