Sony’s Playstation Blog has not only released the God of War release date, its also dropped a brand spanking new story trailer which shows just how much in deep trouble Kratos and his boy Atreus is.

The release date for the fourth installment in the God of War franchise would be April 20. Do I also have to remind you guys that this is an exclusive Playstation 4 release? Good.

Yeah, April 20th is just a stones throw away. Remember, we’re almost done with January. That leaves us with three months before release date. I wonder though, why it took Santa Monica this long to reveal the God of War release date. Not like anythings going to happen with the finished product or something.

In this new trailer, we get to see Kratos’ son and deceased wife then we get to see him taking his son on an adventure. It also looks like Atreus is oblivious to his dad’s real nature. And the more interesting stuff is the fact that the offspring is starting to experience the same rage that his father had experience in his younger years.

I do have a feeling that we’ll be seeing the last of Kratos here… Just a vibe.
