James Mangold Wants to Release a Black and White Version of Logan

Just barely out in cinemas here in the Philippines and not even playing abroad, LOGAN is already getting rave reviews not just from fans but from casual moviegoers as well. And now director James Mangold is looking to release a black-and-white version of the film.

Mangold was asked on Twitter by a fan if he plans to release a reworked noir version of the gritty final Wolverine movie and this was his response:

There’s now a resurgence for black and white films of current movies. Mad Max: Fury Road treated fans to a black and white version and that generated buzz and added revenue for Warner Bros. Pictures. Now 20th Century Fox is doing the same thing for their LOGAN franchise.

Hopefully we get to see this version in Manila and select cities in the Philippines. Who knows, Fox might be listening to this poor fanboy’s plea right?
