Check out the official trailer for X-Men 97 season 2 which brings back Marvel’s Merry Mutants as they have been displaced in time with some parts of the team sent to the past while the other half including Cyclops and Jean Grey dealing with the future where Apocalypse when he finally took over the world.

We’ve already been teased with some of the key visuals for the show with new teams spawning from the vaccuum of the X-Men’s disappearance at the end of X-Men 97 season 1.
So I’ll eventually get into a deep dive for this but here are some things that’s worth nothing and has something that ties back to the MCU aka Earth 616 and all the adventures they have had in the past few years.
The trailer reveals that young Apocalypse (at this era referred to as En Sabah Nur) is waging a war against Rama Tut aka a younger version of Kang the Conqueror. Yes, THE Kang the Conqueror which is also why we’re seeing robots as soldiers hunting down Earth’s first mutant.
In the future we will also follow the adventures of Cyclops and Jean Grey as they reunite with the younger version of Cable aka Nathan Summers who they sent to the future to cure but inadvertently gets lost in time before being picked up and taken care of by the Askani Clan.
