Visa (NYSE: V), a global leader in digital payments, and MOONTON Games, the international video game company behind Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), are strengthening their collaboration in one of the world’s most vibrant Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) communities, bringing Filipino fans closer to the esports moments and experiences they love.

Visa, together with MOONTON Games, successfully hosted MLBB Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 18, the flagship local tournament of MLBB, which drew 20,000 onsite fans and reached over 1.49 million peak concurrent viewers (PCV) for its two-month run, according to Esports Charts. These milestones underscore the scale of Visa’s collaboration with MOONTON Games, connecting the brand with one of esports’ most passionate local communities and a rapidly growing global audience.
The collaboration follows the announcement of Visa as the Global Payment Partner for the next three editions of the M Series—the M8 World Championship (M8) in 2027 through the M10 World Championship (M10) in 2029. The M Series is MLBB’s flagship international competition and is the most-watched mobile esports tournament in history with 5.68 million Peak Concurrent Viewers (PCV), according to Esports Charts.
With an estimated gaming and e-sports market size of 68 million[1] , the Philippines continues to play a pivotal role in the growth of esports both regionally and globally. The expanded partnership also builds on MLBB Esports’ global expansion strategy, now supported by Visa’s global payments network.

Throughout MPL Philippines Season 18, Visa and MOONTON Games worked together to create memorable fan moments, exclusive experiences, and meaningful engagement opportunities that brought supporters closer to the teams, players, creators, and communities that make the league one of the most vibrant esports ecosystems in the world.
Visa unlocked a variety of exclusive experiences for fans of MPL PH. Visa cardholders received early access to purchase the Visa Mythical Glory Day Pass, granting them premium benefits such as Visa Mythical Glory VIP seating, meet-and-greet opportunities with their favorite teams and players, and access to the Visa Mythical Glory Lounge. Helping foster the development of esports talent, Visa has also sponsored the Alamat Awards, recognizing the Visa Most Improved Player, Visa Comeback Player, and the Visa Rising Player to special players who have shown their skills and grit during the two-month tournament.
