Uniqlo x Mobile Suit Gundam 45th Anniversary Collection Now Available

Global apparel retailer UNIQLO has announced a new Uniqlo x Mobile Suit Gundam 45th Anniversary Collection to celebrate the long history of the Gundam franchise which has been around for 45 years! The collection will be available today, May 5 in the Philippines.

The limited edition collection will also feature illustrations drawn by mechanical designer Kunio Okawara. Expect to have some great Gundam visuals on the best Uniqlo shirts including Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and the recent series, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury.

The collection will also boast of the UT original augmented reality which allows users to see a Gundam standing before their eyes. Even cooler, but only for Japanese buyers, was the possibility to use AR to experience a dynamic life-size Gundam near seven stores in Japan.

UNIQLO is launching an augmented reality (AR) project paying respect to “Gundam Rising,” the first episode of the anime series. Users around the world will be able to see a Gundam standing before their eyes.
