OPPO Pad SE Review – Best Pad for 2025 under P10,000
Here’s my OPPO Pad SE review which is available on Shopee, Lazada and OPPO stores with SRP P9,999.
OPPO Tab SE Unboxing
Design
The OPPO Pad SE comes in two versions namely Starlight Silver and Twilight Blue. For this review, I got the OPPO Pad SE in Twilight Blue. It’s easy to like the pad’s dimensions are pretty good with thickness of around 7.39mm and weighs roughly around 530g. A little bit of the heavy side but just a little bit. The back finish is made of standard plastic but the colors are pretty outstanding. The power button can be found at the top and the volume controls can be found at the bottom. The buttons are nicely spaced out and the buttons themselves have this nice feel to them plus they don’t jut out or protrude. OPPO did try to make the pad as seamless and streamline as can be.

You can find four speakers on both sides of the pad which makes audios clearer and deeper.
The only drawback for this device is that it doesn’t allow for SIM Cards or expandable memory.
Display
In case you were wondering, the OPPO Pad SE comes with big LCD screen that’s around 11-inches. It’s bigger or on the same level as the other tablets that are out in the market but that’s not the only edge the Pad SE has. It also features a 16:10 aspect ration and the screen ratio is 85.3%. Again, its perfect for watching videos or even some light gaming here and there.
Your eyes are also protected because the screen has been awarded a Low Blue Light, and Flicker-Free certifications from TÜV Rheinland, guaranteeing minimized eye strain, and a more comfortable viewing experience even if used for hours at a time.
In terms of refresh rate, the OPPO Pad SE is set permanently at 90Hz but can be lowered to around 60Hz. And the vivid mode can reach around 98%. One of the best things about this tablet is its brightness with 500nits at maximum.
Camera
The OPPO Pad SE features a 5MP rear camera with modes including Photo, Video, Time-Lapse, Sticker, Panorama. Here are some samples using the pad’s rear camera.
As you can see the quality is pretty good for normal shots but it kind of gets being fuzzy but the camera does a fine job and gets the job done especially when doing Google Meets or Zoom calls or even Facetime or Messenger video calls.
Meanwhile, the front camera also features a 5MP front camera and that camera is situated in the middle of the screen. The front camera also features Photo mode, Video mode, Time-Lapse, Sticker, Retouch, Screen Fill Light
Design-wise its not hampering anything when you watch a video or scroll through the screen for social media or playing games.
Here’s a selfie sample with the OPPO Pad SE’s front camera/ selfie cameras.

Decent selfies borderline good when you get good natural lighting
Bottomline: Camera’s OK with good output and fast processing.
Performance and Hardware
The OPPO Pad SE also runs on ColorOS side by side with the Android 15
The UI and the UX for the pad is also smooth and if this would be your first ever tablet/pad its definitely going to feel like an overgrown smartphone.
Connectivity
The OPPO Pad SE also comes with the O+ Connect doubling your productivity being able to move your work from your PC or laptop to the tablet or from your phone to the OPPO Pad SE. And more than that, its making connectivity between the Pad and Android and Apple devices particularly the iPhone. There’s even a real-time progress bar can be seen in the iPhone’s Dynamic Island – a smooth transition and “near native experience” on the same level as Google Share.
So don’t your worry about getting mixed up with your cables or have a hard time connecting from point A and point B.
Circling back to the more simple and “native” aspects for the pad, it also comes with an easy to use Screen Mirroring function. You will need an OPPO account though for you to be able to maximize this but in my case, since I am using the OPPO Reno13, its super easy, barely an inconvenience.

Screen Mirroring for the OPPO Pad SE
This gives you a second screen for work or for play or if you really just want to flex how good the OPPO ecosystem is these days to your friends and family.
Battery and Charging
The OPPO Pad SE comes with a 9340mAh battery, which is larger than the battery capacity of it’s peers and competitor’s products. This gives you ample time to watch movies or go on social media. On a full charge you go for around 11 hours of continuous videos OR 80 hours of online music playing. And in the case that you run out of batteries, you don’t have to go on a downtime for a long time since it can has the dependable SUPERVOOC 33W fast-charging system.
AI Features
The OPPO Pad SE also comes with a number of AI features that help improve your photo outputs to make them twice as entertaining and stunning. The newer one for me is the AI Clarity Enhancer which as it suggests, improves the clarity of the photo. Think of it as your AI powered image improver so to speak.

A quick visit to the gallery and hitting on AI Edit will open up the option to enhance your photo free of charge.
OPPO also did a great job with their previous phone releases with the AI Eraser so the new one is also here.
And here’s the original AND the finished product in case you’re wondering.
Verdict:
The OPPO Pad SE will definitely be your bestfriend when it comes to entertainment needs and work-related stuff. It’s a good pad for students and younger consumers who are specifically attuned towards the visual. The two biggest things that I enjoyed with the device was the aforementioned display that’s bright and has this right balance. Then there’s the large battery that can last longer than your average tablet so it gives you longer time to either stream content, go on Facebook or stream your music through Spotify. It’s also a really good secondary screen if you need it to be with the screen mirroring feature.
The OPPO Pad SE is now available online and in stores with SRP of P9999.
