Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast continue their synergy with four new figures that build on the previously established Marvel Legends x Magic: The Gathering line, each including a special card and the same figure.
Doctor Doom 2099
Doctor Doom 2099 comes from the book of the same title and ditches the green for royal blue and black. The set also comes with the card “Doctor Doom, King of Latveria” which is a legendary creature with 3/3 with connive for other villains in your hand or at play.
Black Panther
This Black Panther features an Infinity Gauntlet and has the “T’Challa, the Black Panther” card which is a legendary creature with 2/2. It also features an alternate head with a full mask; the one you see above is the head with a half mask on it.
Captain America
Captain America figure comes with “Captain America, ,Team Leader” which is a 3/3 legendary creature card with vigilance and haste and a +1/+1 counter when there’s another hero card you control during the game. I also like that this Steve Rogers also comes with a nerdy alternate head.
Invisible Woman as Malice
Lastly we have Invisible Woman, a legendary creature 3/3 card with an insane ability that may or may be useful through matches. For me it feels like it’s kind of niche and might be difficult for newbie players.
