Today’s D23 event revealed big details especially for the much-anticipated X-Men movie for the Marvel Cinematic Universe directed by Thunderbolts director Jake Schreier and includes some big stars and new ones.
At the packed panel for upcoming Marvel films, Kevin Feige appeared on stage and started introducing Marvel Studios’ version of the Merry Mutants including Charles Abbott who will play Charles Xavier, Kit Connor as Cyclops, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, Maya Boyd as Storm/Ororo Munroe and the recently announced members like Samara Weaving as Emma Frost and Sadie Sink as Jean Grey who we already met in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. We also now have an idea who the film’s big bad would be and it’s none other than Mister Sinister played by Adam Driver (Kylo Ren)
The film is expected to begin production late this year or early in 2028.
