Godzilla is back to tear down and terrorize Japan once more with the Godzilla Minus Zero official trailer, which teases a bigger predator than Godzilla, which may be another monster we are familiar too.
According to reports, the film is set in 1949, two years after the events of Godzilla Minus One which ended with a nice twist revealing that Minami Hamabe’s Noriko has been affected with Godzilla cells that remain dormant probably until the time Big G returns.
Most of the cast from the first film returns in this film directed and written by Takashi Yamazaki!

There are a number of neat stuff I want to briefly talk about with this trailer.
For starters, we are getting a homage to the iconic Godzilla Minus One scene in the scene with a seaplane replacing an old fishing boat being terrorized by Godzilla.
It also gives us an idea on how much this version of Japan and the Japanese government is serious about tackling their Godzilla problem.
Next we have that strange blue energy that seems to be coming from an outside force which may or may not be another kaiju they plan on introducing here.
We’re also seeing some semblance of “Burning Godzilla” in the trailer which kind of gives us an idea of how powerful this new enemy is taxing our Big G to his limits.
Lastly, we also get a nice scene at the end of something dropping Godzilla from somewhere high.
