An epic of cosmic proportions is on the horizon as “Ramayana: Rise of A Legend” arrives exclusively at SM Cinemas. Directed by award-winning filmmaker, Namit Malhotra, the celebrated legend is brought to life alongside stunning visual effects from DNEG, with Academy Award visual effect work on films such as “Inception”, “Dune”, and “Interstellar.” The film also features a musical score collaboration with Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman.
“Ramayana” is one of India’s greatest epics, which tells the story of Prince Rama and King Ravana, and their intertwined fate bound by prophecy.

The film features an ensemble cast, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Rama and Yash as Ravana. The film also stars Sai Pallavi, Ravie Dubey, and Sunny Deol.
