A Closer Look at the Other Knights of Ren from Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Remember Kylo Ren‘s posse back in Star Wars: The Force Awakens during Rey’s Force dream? We’re expecting more of them for Episode VIII and Episode IX but for the meantime, here’s a closer look at these bad-ass characters from the Dark Side who may or may not be Supreme Leader Snoke’s personal guard.
These scans of the other Knights of Ren was shared on Reddit by redditor SlamSlayer1 and has been picked up by news sites and blogs since then.
Anyway, the photos can be seen below and just after the cut.
It definitely feels like something from Final Fantasy with job classes for different characters. The only difference is that they will slay you if you look at them the wrong way.
Unfortunately for us, these Knights of Ren characters never get named, so lets just refer to them as Rogue or Sniper or Monk. Still that doesn’t diminish the pure badassery of these guys.
While “The Monk” is depicted as an obvious hand-to-hand combatant we see him in Rey’s dream with a bo staff.
“The Sniper” on the other hand is true to his concept artwork. Brandishing a gun and looking very intimidating with his helmet, this character can definitely take out targets from far away even without The Force working with him.
If there’s another member of Knights of Ren that should get an award for “best posing” it would be “The Rogue”. Why is he called that? Is he a tactical genius and an aficionado of dual pistols? Does he shoot first?
The last knight shared on Reddit was “The Armory”
I’m not so impressed with this guy but maybe we see him/her do something cool in the upcoming Star Wars movies.
Missing from this list is “The Heavy” but he’s pretty much the tank of the team. Also I realized that from this bunch, only Kylo Ren sports a lightsaber. Could it be that he’s the first “Jedi” to join the ranks of Snoke’s pet project? Or are these guys also carrying lightsabers but opt to use other weapons? Or are they really just strong force-sensitives that Snoke fostered and mentored in the 30 plus years since “Return of the Jedi”.

Meh. They look like Uruk-hai.
They seem oddly similar to the rogue 1 characters especially with ‘the rogue’ duh and and ‘the monk’ with his staff and all of them don’t know how to use the force which is why they would rather use weapons than their lightsabers in episode 7
