John Wick Chapter 3 has a new Title

Keanu Reeves recently dropped a bomb on the official title for the third John Wick film and it’s not what we were all expecting.

In an interview with ComingSoon, Reeves revealed that the third John Wick movie will be called John Wick: Parabellum.

“Prepare for war,” he told the website. “It’s part of that famous sentence, ‘Si vis pacem, para bellum,’ which translates as, ‘If you want peace, prepare for war.’”

Directed by Chad Stahelski, John Wick: Parabellum stars returning actors Keanu Reeves, Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne, Ruby Rose, and Common. They are joined by newcomers Halle Berry, Anjelica Huston, Hiroyuki Sanada, Jason Mantzoukas, Mark Dacascos, Asia Kate Dillon, Yayan Ruhian, Cecep Arif Rahman, and Tiger Hu Chen. It opens May 17, 2019.
