Tom Hardy went on social media to show what’s going on behind the camera of Sony Pictures’ upcoming Venom movie where he plays lead character Eddie Brock.

I was very clear that this MAY OR MAY NOT BE a peak into the new look for Venom. Maybe at this stage they are just shooting regular scenes which won’t feature CGI.

I think that this Venom scene will just show us viewers what Brock had went through either before he became the photojournalist that got mixed up with Spider-Man’s symbiote.

What I do feel though is that the movie will be ditching elements from Eddie Brock, take some elements from Flash Thompson’s run as Venom then go and retcon some stuff. Remember, they are playing nice with Marvel Studios and at this point teenage Peter Parker has yet to encounter the symbiote that makes up his original “Black Suit”.

Venom is currently filming and scheduled for theatrical release on October 5, 2018. The film is directed by Ruben Fleischer.
