Solo Leveling Season 2 set to debut first through cinematic release

News for fans waiting for Solo Leveling and its second season!

According to reports, the A-1 Pictures anime series will be returning for Solo Leveling season 2 later this fall 2024 but before that, fans can get to see the new episodes for season 2 on the big screen as its attached to the theatrical film officially titled “Solo Leveling ReAwakening” which will hit Korean theaters on November 28 and November 29 in Japan.

While we don’t have any footage to go by there’s the source material to lean on to and in this case the thing that we need to keep an eye out is the way the story is animated and the screenplay is used. Anime is a different beast entirely from the manhwa so a straightforward story can be turned out in different directions. In this case for the second season of Solo Leveling, the show’s producer Sota Furuhashi has stated that the spotlight would be turned towards the supporting characters from the game.

According to the producer, one key character would be Go Gunhee, head of the Hunter Association and one of the first people who trusted Sung Jingwoo.
