Atarashii Gakko x Baby Metal is the collab we always wanted

Either we are lucky fans to have Atarashii Gakko x Baby Metal becoming a thing or we’re just lucky that that the two Japanese girl groups have a photo together.

Either way, we’re just lucky we got this.

Atarashii Gakko!, known in Japan as Atarashii Gakkou no Leaders (新しい学校のリーダーズ, lit. ’New School Leaders’), is a Japanese girl group formed in 2015. The group is jointly managed with Asobisystem,[2] Twin Planet and TV Asahi Music.[3] It made its Japanese debut in June 2017 under Victor Entertainment with the single “Dokubana”, and its worldwide debut came in January 2021 under 88rising with the single “Nainainai”.[4]

On December 7, 2023, Atarashii Gakko! made their U.S. television debut, performing “Tokyo Calling” on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
