EXOBORNE: First gameplay reveal and Community testing
Publisher Level Infinite and developer Sharkmob released the first gameplay trailer for the upcoming tactical open world extraction shooter Exoborne, currently in development for PC and consoles. Alongside the trailer the team confirmed Exoborne’s presence at this year’s Gamescom at the Level Infinite booth in Hall 6.

With an always playable approach and “test early – test often” mindset during the development process the team at Sharkmob is committed to working closely with the community. With the first big, closed online test concluded earlier this year Interested players can sign up on the homepage to receive further information about the game and participate in upcoming tests.

Exo-Rigs and epic gear to master apocalyptic forces of nature
Exoborne drops you into a hostile world turned upside down. Players take on the role of Reborn, extraordinary survivors able to use the powerful Exo-Rigs. They thrive in a world plagued by warring factions, deadly elemental chaos, and other hostile Reborn. Utilizing their Exo-Rig abilities the Reborn not only survive the fierce forces of nature but channel that raw power into combat and movement.
Big risks can yield big rewards, and that has never been truer than when players enter the heart of a storm to find the best possible loot – but will they be able to bring it back home? Exploring the fading remains of society and scavenging for gear and tech is the only way to survive and prepare for the unforeseen challenges ahead. Meanwhile, the stakes will constantly be raised and the fear of losing it all is always present.
Gamescom G2024 – meet the team in the Sharkmob community lounge
For visitors to this year’s Gamescom in Cologne, the team has a special treat at the Level Infinite Booth in Hall 6. Sharkmob team members will guide attendees through a gameplay presentation at the Exoborne community lounge. Exo-Rig cosplays, stage shows, and a game-inspired data treasure hunt will be featured at the Level Infinite booth and beyond. More information about all Gamescom activations for Exoborne will be shared shortly on the game’s social channels.
