Grant Sputore named new director for next Monsterverse Godzilla Film

Legendary has announced a new director moving forward for the next Monsterverse Godzilla feature being developed and his name is Grant Sputore.

Following the release of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, director Adam Wingard had announced that he would not be returning to direct the next film which would finalize the Godzilla / Kong trilogy of films under Legendary’s Monsterverse shared universe.

So now we are getting Grant Sputore who has established work as a commercial director and did the sci-fi film “I Am Mother” starring Hilary Swank.

The untitled Monsterverse movie will be written by Dave Callaham who also wrote films like Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
