Road House is written by Anthony Bagarozzi and Charles Mondry and produced by Joel Silver under the direction of Doug Liman. It follows the journey of Elwood Dalton (Jake Gyllenhaal), a former UFC fighter navigating the gritty underworld of bouncing. Dalton’s background as a former UFC fighter frequently leads him to rely on violence to resolve conflicts. However, beneath this tough exterior, he remains committed to delivering justice to those in need, even if it requires bending the rules. The film promises an electrifying cinematic experience with its action-packed story, eye-catching visuals, and star-studded cast.
Premiering as the opening night film of the 2024 SXSW Film Festival, Road House also celebrated global premieres in London and New York, gracing the covers of prestigious magazines such as New York Magazine, Men’s Health, Total Film, L’Officiel, and GQ Korea.
Additionally, Road House was a proud sponsor of the UFC 299 fight in Las Vegas, further solidifying its presence in the sports entertainment scene.
