Monarch: Legacy of Monsters trailer teases new kaiju and hard connects to Kong: Skull Island

Apple TV has released the first Monarch: Legacy of Monsters trailer which stars Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell to lead the cast. What’s more interesting is that the series is tightly connected to Kong: Skull Island as well as big connection to the John Goodman’s character in the film.

The series’ story takes place after the 2014 Godzilla film.

The series explores “the mythic legacy of a world in which monsters are real,” with Variety previously describing the show as centering on “one family’s journey to uncover its buried secrets and a legacy linking them to the secret organization known as Monarch.”
