The Iron Claw poster from A24

We got a look at the first The Iron Claw poster starring Zac Efron as part of the legendary Von Erich wrestling family.

The Iron Claw is set for release December 2023 from A24 Studios. This could be picked up locally by TBA Studios.

Anyway the film will be directed by Sean Durkin and tells the “true story of the inseparable Von Erich brothers, who made history in the intensely competitive world of professional wrestling in the early 1980s. Through tragedy and triumph, under the shadow of their domineering father and coach, the brothers seek larger-than-life immortality on the biggest stage in sports.”

Yes there are notable AEW and WWE stars in the picture playing legendary wrestlers here too like MJF as Lance Von Erich and Chavo Guerrero Jr as The Sheik.

Be prepared for tissues too as this is a sad film. With all but one of the Von Erich kids surviving to this day. There’s actually a wrestling legend called the Von Erich curse but that’s a blog topic for another day.
