World Cosplay Summit Philippines not sending reps this year after Team MD issue and subsequent withdrawal

The Philippines won’t have any representatives for this year’s World Cosplay Summit in Japan according to the World Cosplay Summit Philippines Facebook page.

The tl;dr version of this is that our representative this year, Team MD, was flagged for using purchased/ MTO’ed parts for their cosplay rather than crafting their costumes themselves. This was a big issue since the whole thing is based on crafting your own costume.
