Margot Robbie and Adam Driver reportedly passes on Fantastic Four roles over salary

We won’t be seeing Margot Robbie aka Harley Quinn in the DC Universe nor Star Wars’ Adam Driver as two of the members of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Fantastic Four after talks broke down over salaries.

Last month reports were swirling in that Marvel was allegedly speaking to both Driver and Robbie being the leads for the upcoming Fantastic Four movie for Marvel Studios which will be directed by Spider-Man: Homecoming‘s Jon Watts.

Driver was in the running to play Fantastic Four’s leader Mr Fantastic aka Reed Richards while Margot Robbie could have played Sue Storm aka the Invisible Woman.

But this week it turns out that that possibility has been sent to the Negative Zone. That’s because Disney, Driver’s team and Robbie’s team did not come to an agreement on the salary for the two actors. No real word though on who did who but its nice to know that they know their worth.

Driver’s last mainstream movie to date was the sci-fi adventure 65 but he really became super “in” with the crowd when he took on the role of Darth Vader’s grandson Ben Solo aka Kylo Ren in the Star Wars sequel trilogy namely “Force Awakens”, “The Last Jedi” and “The Rise of Skywalker”.

Margot Robbie has also generated goodwill amongst the comic book movie niche with her take as Harley Quinn for three DC Movie appearances namely “Suicide Squad“, “Birds of Prey” and “The Suicide Squad“. We will see her next in the upcoming WB film Barbie directed by Greta Gerwig.

But don’t look now because there’s another Hollywood star that could be in the running to play the MCU Sue Storm.
