McFarlane Toys Page Punchers returns with Dark Nights Metal and The Dark Knight Returns

McFarlane Toys has revealed their next slew of DC Multiverse Page Punchers focusing on two distinct books namely Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns and two characters from Dark Nights Metal!

DC The Dark Knight Returns Page Punchers Batman and Mutant Leader 3-Inch Scale Action Figure 2-Pack with Comic Book

The two figures for this 2-pack includes Batman and the Mutant Leader. Of course if you read the Frank Miller story set decades after Batman retired and returned to crimefighting, you’ll know that this was a critical moment for the life of the grizzled old Bruce Wayne. Round 1 between him and the mutant leader ended up with him badly beaten. When they had their rematch, Batman became a “surgeon” and humiliated the mutant leader in front of his gang which was a pretty cool moment.

Of course the cool thing about these Page Punchers from McFarlane Toys is that not only do you get nice action figures but you also get reprinted copies of the book that the pack represents like in this case, buyers can get issue 1 of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller, Klaus Janson and Lyn Varley.

McFarlane Toys will also release the Dark Nights Metal page punchers 2-pack featuring the Batman who Laughs and Red Death aka the Batman-Joker hybrid and the Batman-Flash hybrid.

Of course the comic book that will come along with this Page Punchers 2-pack would be the massively popular Dark Nights Metal written by Scott Snyder with art by Greg Capullo.

Both two packs are currently on pre-order and priced at $16.99; target release date for the figures would be June, 2023 but knowing McFarlane Toys this could be super early OR super late. Either way, it’s a nice addition to the growing Page Punchers line from DC Comics!
