D23 Expo 2022: New Trailers for Star Wars: Andor, Tales of the Jedi and The Mandalorian season 3

Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Company has released a ton of new content during the recently concluded D23 Expo 2022 including Star Wars: Andor, Tales of the Jedi and The Mandalorian season 3.

Star Wars: Andor

This trailer gives us a ton of new scenes including new characters and more details about this series set some time before the beginning of Rogue One: A Star Wars story starring Diego Luna reprising his role as Cassian Andor.

Tales of the Jedi

This animated series is also looking to be promising. This one is going to be an anthology series much like Star Wars Visions with two main protagonists for the story namely Ahsoka Tano and a pre-Darth Tyranus Count Dooku. We will also be getting more of Qui Gon Jinn who will be played once more by Liam Neeson. A younger version of the Jedi master will also appear in the story and will be voiced by Neeson’s own son taking over those scenes.

The Mandalorian Season 3

Lastly but certainly not the least we have the first trailer/ teaser for The Mandalorian season 3 which still stars Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin / The Mandalorian. And it picks up with all the complexities that he has to face now that he’s officially the head of Mandalore after gaining control of the Darksaber at the end of season 2. There are a lot of familiar faces returning too including Carl Weathers as Greef Karga. I’m not a 100% sure but that could have been Babu Frik who we last saw in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

It also seems like Din Djarin’s been officially booted out of his Mandalorian order, served by The Armorer herself. So that could be something that spices up the series.
