Preview pages for Edge of Spider-Verse # 5 featuring first LGBT Spider-Man, Web-Weaver
Marvel has released some unlettered pages for Edge of Spider-Verse # 5 which will feature the character Web-Weaver, the first real LGBTQ Spider-Man.
Apparently in this universe, its not Peter Parker who gets bitten by an irradiated spider but rather a different person.
Introducing WEB WEAVER! Marvel’s first gay Spider-hero debuts in EDGE OF SPIDER-VERSE #5.
Web-Weaver, a not-so-mild mannered fashion designer at Van Dyne gets spider-powers and shows us a very different kind of Spider-Slayer in a story by Steve Foxe and Kei Zama. See him strut the runway in front of his fellow Spiders in a variant cover by Kris Anka, the amazing artist behind Web-Weaver’s fabulous design!

From the unlettered pages, it also looks like this new character was kicked out of his home after coming out to his parents and gets taken in by kind women in his neighborhood
And he also gets to work in the fashion industry particularly with Janet Van Dyne’s fashion company.
