X-Men: Hellfire Gala # 1 Spoilers – Synch has a secret

One of our new favorite characters in the current X-Men run by Gerry Duggan is keeping a big secret that could affect him and the team in the future. Let’s take a look at Synch’s secret which was dropped in X-Men: Hellfire Gala # 1

Spoilers for X-Men: Hellfire Gala # 1 by Gerry Duggan and a whole of artists including Kris Anka and Russell Dauterman.

Synch’s big secret was first revealed to Cecilia Reyes, the mutant physician working in Krakoa.

And it seems like he’s growing older faster the more he pushes the use of his mutant powers which is copying the abilities of his intended target and we’ve already seen him push that much through the issues of this current volume whether its borrowing Jean Grey’s telekinesis while she’s in space to copying other non-mutants’ powers, we can see that he really is growing strong but at the cost of his body aging rapidly.

In the end Everett decides that he’ll continue his pace as is with no intention of stopping. THis of course could pose a problem in the future especially since Cyclops has already exposed the secret of mutant resurrection in Krakoa to the world. In fact in this same issue, we can see how the world reacts to the truth of the mutants getting resurrection.

Either way, this may not end up how Everett would want it to be.
